Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Susan is a graduate of The College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio, where she majored in both Art History and Japanese. Susan studied studio art at The Art Student’s League, The New School, The Brooklyn Museum Art School, The Somerset Art Association, The Morris County Art Association and The New Jersey Center for Visual Arts.

Susan is an Artist Member of the American Artists Professional League and a founding member of Studio 7, an artists’ studio/gallery cooperative in Bernardsville, New Jersey.  In 2005 she was accepted in the prestigious American Artists Professional League Grand National Exhibition. Most recently she was awarded two blue ribbons at the Pittstown New Jersey Equine Art Show: Best in Show and Best in Equine.
